Preview Of Destruction: Obama's Big Bang

The transition team chief, John Podesta, has divulged that Obama is planning to use executive powers to reverse certain Bush era policies, besides waiting on Congress to initiate his other agenda items. (source)

With an election that brought out only as many voters as the election of 2004, this is clearly not a mandate that Obama has been given, but the tone of his rhetoric suggests that this new president thinks it wise to look at Bush policies as "pre-reversed".

With a world awaiting leadership due to the many chaotic eruptions that have recently arrived, it will take a deft leader to keep us from being "bled dry" by the many demands of foreign nations. From Darfur's China connection to Syria and Iran's Russian connection, we have been wise to steer away from potential conflicts that could have spread our forces out wider, stretching more thinly, thanks to President Bush.

If Obama thinks himself too wise for President Bush's reasoning on many things related to foreign policy, he performs a disservice to this country.
