X-gen turning 42 this year (2009), finally at a point of feeling comfortable in my own skin.
Life is good and I've been lucky. I've made my own way in this world, not depending on my father, my friends or anyone else to dictate what path I should take.
If you're unhappy with life because it wasn't everything you thought it would be then it's your fault for not looking harder for the good down here on Earth. I firmly believe that one of the ways we'll be judged is by how grateful we were to have life in the first place.
I'm divorced, no kids, and I have only the good lord to thank for that. The women I've been with were beautiful, but they weren't the marrying types or the mothering types, but they'd already had kids by other men by the time I showed up.
It was from them I learned that "beauty is only skin deep". I have recently found my special someone, and as they say, "love is sweeter the second time around."
